In this session, we explore the 3rd component of our GenJ framework: Engaging in Partnership.

In this session we highlight the characteristics of the typical environments of partnerships: 1) Small Groups, 2) Huddles and 3) One-on-one mentoring.

We propose a practical step-by-step structure for your catch-ups with your mentee/s. These include: 1) Sharing SOAPS, 2) Setting SMART goals, and 3) Guiding your mentee to self-reflect on their goals and life’s experiences.

We conclude the session with an opportunity to review your current mentoring relationships to set some action plans that will take you to the next level of your effectiveness.

In the next session, we will delve deeper into your role as a disciple-maker.
