Giving Policy

Last updated 29 September 2026

Thank you for giving to GenJ. Gifts are received by Generation Jesus Ltd (ABN 92 683 194 765), the registered charity that runs GenJ Church. This policy explains how your gift is processed, how it is used, and what to do if you need to change it or something goes wrong.

  1. [01]How giving works

You can give once or regularly through the Tithe.ly form on our Give page, or by bank transfer using the details shown there.

Tithe.ly processes gifts made online. Your card or bank details go directly to Tithe.ly, which is certified to the payment industry's security standard (PCI DSS). GenJ never sees or stores your full card number.

  2. [02]Where your gift goes

Gifts support GenJ's mission: helping young adults discover, develop in and disciple for Jesus, and multiplying disciplers in Melbourne and across Australia.

If you give towards a particular purpose, we will use your gift for it wherever we can. If that purpose is fully funded or can no longer go ahead, we will use your gift where it is most needed in GenJ's work.

  3. [03]Tax

Generation Jesus Ltd is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission, but it is not a deductible gift recipient. Gifts to GenJ are not tax deductible, and your receipt is not a tax receipt.

  4. [04]Receipts

Tithe.ly emails you a receipt for every gift made online. For a statement of your giving over a year, or a receipt for a bank transfer, email hello@genj.com.au.

  5. [05]Changing or cancelling regular giving

You can change or cancel a regular gift at any time through your Tithe.ly account, or by emailing hello@genj.com.au. Changes take effect from the next scheduled gift.

  6. [06]Mistakes and refunds

Gifts are generally not refundable. If you gave an amount you did not intend, gave twice, or believe a gift was made without your permission, email hello@genj.com.au within 30 days and we will work with you to refund it.

If a gift was made fraudulently with your card, please also contact your bank.

  7. [07]Your privacy

We keep your giving details confidential. Only the people who manage GenJ's finances can see them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
